Conscience Collection cultured diamonds and gems begin with a very small diamond or gem seed. Under pristine lab conditions and extreme pressure simulating millions of years of Earth's natural forces, a stone is carefully grown to maximize its brilliance.
The environmental impact is minimal. A Conscience Collection cultured diamond or gem requires only a small amount of electricity in the lab to achieve radiant gem quality whereas, the average diamond mine removes 275 tons of ore from the ground to produce a one-carat gem quality stone. Such strip mining devastates ecosystems and has left hundreds of thousands of acres of land and water unsuitable for human life, farming or animal habitats.
